DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Domestic First Class Package Shipping normally ships for receipt within 5-10 business days. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not considered business days. Expect an extended delivery date when:

  • Merchandise requires personalization
  • Merchandise is shipped direct from the manufacturer
  • Merchandise is of an irregular size or weight 
  • Merchandise is on back order from the manufacturer
  • Shipment is destined for a U.S. Territory or Possession
  • USPS is experiencing delays due to unexpected circumstances 

If you required more trackable and quick delivery, please select UPS Ground. Extra charge will apply. 

In the case of a backorder, all items may be delayed until all items are available for shipment.

We recommends providing a street address for shipping since using a P.O. Box address may result in a delay. Deliveries to APO/FPO and P.O. Boxes will be shipped via United States Postal Service at Standard rates. Select Standard Shipping at checkout. Allow for extended delivery times.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

First Class International Package is the most affordable shipping option but please be aware that it may take between 4 - 10 weeks for delivery depending on your location. 

There may be delays due to Increased volume and carrier’s reduced capabilities to handle packages related to COVID-19. Please allow more time in consideration of current situation. 

All prices on our site are in US dollars. Your credit card company will bill you with your local currency at the current exchange rate.

When ordering outside of United States of America, the recipient is responsible for assuring the product can be legally imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient. 221B Tactical has no control over these charges, nor can predict what they may be.

Customs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable: so a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, we strongly suggest:

  • Providing a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your product arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.
  • Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they return it to the sender.

We do not refund original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.

Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy

221B Tactical has a 30-day returns and exchanges policy except for Body Armor products and Watches.  You may return your merchandise to 221B Tactical within 30 days upon the receipt of your product. Refunds will be applied to the original credit card used at the time of purchase.

Clothing/Apparel can not be returned or exchanged after they have been worn for any reason other than fitting. They can not be returned or exchanged after washing. If you find that size does not fit, please do not wear them again and contact us immediately for return or exchange. Underwear can not be returned for any reason and are Final Sale.

Postage will be refunded on returns due to defective merchandise or an error in shipping.  Postage will not be refunded on returns or requests for size exchanges.  In the event that the style being returned is no longer available for exchange, a product of equal value may be offered. 

221B Tactical will only honor returns on orders placed directly with www.221btactical.com.  

221B Tactical will not honor returns on merchandise purchased at outside retail locations.  No returns or exchanges will be accepted for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. Please contact that seller directly.  

Return and exchange shipping charges will only be covered by 221B Tactical in the event of an exchange of a defective product or a shipping error.

All you need in cold winter weather is Stage 3, which you wear under your body armor (even better: under your Maxx-Dri Vest!). It keeps you warm and comfortable, providing full thermal protection to sub 15-degrees Fahrenheit (-9.45C). It blocks wind and resists water.

Importantly, Stage 3 is breathable. You don't overheat going out into the cold and then back into warm buildings and squad cars. Also, the material that covers the core is thinner so that you don't overheat under your armor vest.

The Stage 3 material is thin and stretchy, so you have full freedom of movement and flexibility to do the job without compromising safety: to easily access gear on your duty belt, and to chase and handle unruly suspects.

Innovative Design & Materials 

The benefits of Stage 3 are achieved through innovative design and materials. Despite being thin and stretchy, the Stage 3 fabric is a triple layer of three different materials heat-pressed together. The outer layer is a soft, stretchy, breathable polyurethane fabric that blocks wind. The middle layer resists water and blocks wind. And the inner layer, which touches your body, is a soft grid-thermal fleece that maintains your body heat.

Thermal material covers your shoulders, sleeves and upper chest. Tight wrist cuffs ensure that cold air doesn’t run up your arms. The mock-neck design protects your neck. But you need to breath at the core, the torso. So the core of Stage 3 is made with moisture-wicking, breathable material to keep you dry. It's thinner than the rest of the garment so you don't overheat under your body armor.

All around good, but not great

I've worn the base layer for a couple of months now. First off, it does work as advertised. I'm pretty warm when going outside and coming back in, so much so that I don't wear a jacket unless the temp is below 30. However, if there is a small wind, I can feel the cold around my hips where the material is thinner. Not a deal breaker, but a chilly spot. The material holds up well and I don't see any wear spots after 2 months of wear.

As for the fit, make sure you have room under your duty shirt for the extra bulk. I had to go up a size. I'm not a fan of the unisex fitting. The sleeves are too long and the torso is way too long. I make do because the shirt is such a game changer, but I'm sick of companies thinking all officers are built the same. If they had a short version, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Overall, a good base layer worth the price.

Warm with no bulk

I’ve only used the shirt for a couple of shifts but so far I’m enjoying it in our rainy and windy West Coast Canadian winter (7degrees Celsius to minus 4) my only gripe is that the wrists fit tight so I have to remove my watch to get the shirt on.

Just like wearing a jacket

I love this shirt! Would not recommend for above 55 degree temps. But awesome for below temps. Now only my hands get cold cause I forget how cold it is.

Like product. But cant wear it cause its too restricting and tight. Might need a size larger but its past 30 days and now im stuck with it. Never been worn other than fitting

Because everyone's body sizes and shapes are different, there are many different assessments people make. I suggest you try this for awhile and you'll likely get used to it. Too hot and too tight

I love the idea and the fit is great. I run hot so I thought this would be a great alternative to wear under a duty shirt. Unfortunately, the wrists are too tight and the turtle neck traps the heat all too well, causing me to sweat even more. I believe this is a good shirt for most people that dont generally run hot, but for a guy like me, I was sweating all day in a 35 degree weather.
