Body Armor Protection For Kids Backpacks, School Children, Office, Vehicle and EDC

When's the last time you used a clipboard during your daily course of activities? For most of you, you probably can't even remember. However, that doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't carry one. Keep reading to find out why...

There have been more than 200 mass shootings in 2022 thus far. Sadly, at the time of this article, we are only 146 days into the year. That means there have been roughly 1.4 mass shootings per day since the beginning of the year.

According to FBI statistics, the overwhelming majority of these shooting incidents involve handguns. Yes, a percentage do involve AR-15s. However, for the most part, the actors in these incidents are using handguns. This is most likely due to the fact that handguns are much more easily concealed than rifles.

So it should come as no surprise that more and more people are seeking to take their safety more seriously. And many are doing so by exploring options for protection against bullets in these situations. Unfortunately, many who are making these purchases are doing so on behalf of their children.

Recent advancements in body armor technology have lead to thinner, lighter and stronger protective panels. These lightweight panels can easily be stored in a child's backpack, a travel bag, in your vehicle or at your desk at work.

One innovation in particular which has gotten a lot of positive reviews is the ballistic clipboard by Legacy Safety and Security. This ultra lightweight, level IIIA clipboard offers protection against 9mm, .40, .45 and even 44 magnum handgun threats.

The Legacy clipboard is easily concealed in a backpack, briefcase or any bag for that matter. However, the fact that it is a functioning clipboard makes it so you can have it out in the open without drawing any attention to it at all; literally hiding your body armor protection in plain sight.
