"No, this won't keep you from sweating... But you WILL feel the breeze under the vest which will dry your sweat and cool you down."
"Before using the Maxx-Dri, my shirt would be completely soaked by the end of the day. Since wearing it... nowhere near as bad."
"The first day I wore it I notice right away that I had no sweat pooling under my vest. I was dry and comfortable throughout the whole shift!"
"There is easily a 70-80% difference throughout the day. I wear a 30lb vest in Texas."

Twelve Hours Into a Shift, Your
Armor Has Turned Into a Steam Room.
The soaked shirt.
"My shirt would be completely soaked by the end of the day."
The smell.
The vest funk everyone pretends doesn't exist.
The itch.
"That itch. You know the one I'm talking about."
The rash.
Heat rash and back acne that come back no matter how often the vest gets washed.
You've probably already tried:
Every one of those hits the same wall: under a sealed slab of armor, the heat has nowhere to go.
The Elite Puts a Layer of Moving Air Between Your Armor and Your Skin.

Wear it under
The Elite goes on over your base layer, under your armor.

Air moves through
9mm-thick open-weave mesh holds your armor off your body, so air flows across your chest and back.

Heat and sweat escape
Your shirt dries while you wear it, in heat and in cold.

An officer picks up the Elite and gives his take
Straight answer: you'll still sweat.
The Elite gives the sweat somewhere to go. Officers put it best: with airflow "it's like magic," and a shirt that used to be soaked comes off barely damp.
Here's how the shift actually changes.

An extra inch of mesh along the ribs, answering the "runs short" complaint directly.

No, this won't keep you from sweating... But you WILL feel the breeze under the vest which will dry your sweat and cool you down... 14 years of patrol experience and this is absolutely worth the cost.

Twelve-hour jail shifts, from soaked through to barely damp
Verified Buyer
Rated 4.8 / 5.0
I work 12-hour shifts in a jail and sweat a lot, especially under my vest. Before using the Maxx-Dri, my shirt would be completely soaked by the end of the day. Since wearing it, my shirt still gets damp, but nowhere near as bad... like going from a long run to a light jog.

Skeptical about the price until the first shift came off dry
Verified Buyer
Rated 4.8 / 5.0
I was skeptical. The price seemed high but I'm glad I gave it a shot! The first day I wore it I notice right away that I had no sweat pooling under my vest. I was dry and comfortable throughout the whole shift!

Questions Officers Actually Ask.
Does it run small? What size should I get?
Use the size finder above and measure rather than guess: reviews flag sizing as the one thing to get right. The size chart is the guide.
Will I still sweat?
Yes. The difference is where it goes: the mesh lets air move and sweat evaporate, so your shirt dries while you wear it instead of soaking through.
Will it bunch up or ride when I sit in the car all shift?
The Elite adds non-slip grip front and back plus removable straps, which is the fix for exactly that complaint from earlier versions.
Does it work with a concealed/inner carrier?
Yes, with the strongest airflow across the front panel. Outer carriers get the full effect, and the 90-day trial covers you either way.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on gentle or hand wash; drip dry. No dryer.
Is this a bulletproof vest?
No. The Elite is worn with your body armor, under it, to make wearing armor bearable. It provides no ballistic protection on its own.
Tonight's Shift Ends With a Dry Shirt.
Peel the armor off, and the shirt underneath comes off dry.
