Silver Elite Anti-Bacterial Collection

We created the Maxx-Dri Silver Elite Tee Shirt as the perfect hot weather base-layer shirt to wear under our Maxx-Dri Vest body armor ventilation. Silver Elite is a special micro-mesh material that’s infused with silver (AG), which has natural anti-bacterial properties to prevent rashes, as well as odors. Silver has been used to purify water since ancient times. Compared to typical moisture-wicking shirt material, Silver Elite material is thinner and lighter. It allows an exponentially greater amount of air to pass through it so your body can breathe.  Moisture-wicking shirts are not helpful when worn beneath body armor. With no exposure to ambient air, sweat is wicked from the body directly into the armor vest, soaking it in sweat. 

While Silver Elite shirts (the tee for hot weather, and long-sleeve for cooler weather) are the perfect base-layer complement to Maxx-Dri Vest, they’re also super comfortable to wear as a standalone shirt for work or play. They have flat-sewn seams and tag-less labeling and are long enough to stay tucked into your pants.
