These aren’t the softest, but they are very breathable and they resist odors very well.

My husband works long shifts in full tactical gear, and in the summer heat it has been almost unbearable to have him come in the house prior to showering. We had to put all his underclothes directly into the wash with a bleach free sanitizer to soak prior to washing, then use scent beads and a deodorizer detergent to help reduce the odor. We made the change to 221b underwear when we changed his shirts, and we are both very happy with the change. No more stripping in the laundry room to soak his clothes- they can be washed with the regular laundry. Couldn’t be happier with these underwear!
